Pieter de Molijn

The painter and etcher, Pieter de Molijn, was born in London from Flemish parents. He became a master of the Guild of St. Luke in Haarlem by 1616. Molijn was one of the first representatives of the naturalistic landscape style, which was practiced in the northern Netherlands in the 17th century.
