Paulus Moreelse
1571–1638, Utrecht
Paulus Moreelse, a painter of portraits and historical scenes from Utrecht, trained for two years in Delft under Michiel van Mierevelt. Subsequently he went on a lengthy trip to Italy. Moreelse left a very small printed oeuvre comprising just four prints.
